Boracay - the paradise Island
Boracay is a small limestone island off the northern end of Panay. It had been discovered by foreign backpackers back in the 80's with its perfect white powder sand beaches. Since then Boracay has evolved into one of the most culturally unique islands in the world. We have everything from local tribal culture to 5 star hotels, international restaurants and shops, yet the island style feeling is still present. Boracay is a truly awesome experience, our only problem is people not wanting to leave.
After a great day on the water and in the air at Habagat Kite Village, start your evening with a quiet sunset drink on the Steak House reserved beach. The Boracay Steak House is a renowned spot for an excellent meal of quality, serving exclusively imported Australian beef, a choice of European dishes
and a fine selection of wines. But you may also choose one of the island's other culinary delights. Afterwards the night will last until dawn with a large choice of bars and night clubs.
Shopping used to be a reason people would have escape places like Boracay with its minimal tribal life-style.

Well, things have changed since those days. there is a mall, called D-Mall, full of the most desirable and stylish clothes and accessories.
International boutiques offer world class brands and on the other hand you find bargains in the newly rebuilt muslim market, the talipapa.

There are so many activities to do in Boracay. All fun watersports, diving, jet ski, sail boats, cycling, horse riding, ATV's, caving, international 18 holes standard golf course, and, and, and. Your vacation will definitely be too short.
Boracay's nightlife is what you want to make it. A quiet drink after a delicious meal or partying all night long.
White beach is littered with bars and night clubs, offering hot dancing or live music and serving all the magic drinks you can wish for. Boracay is open 24 hours a day.

Most international flights arrive in Manila. Once in Manila most people fly with one of the domestic airlines either to Caticlan or to Kalibo. The flight takes about one hour. Caticlan is just a short boat trip from Boracay. From Kalibo it's a 2 hours scenic trip by bus or van to Caticlan. In the near future a new international airport will be opened on neighbouring Carabao island.

If you like the sea, a ferry brings you in 18 hours from Manila to Caticlan, the sea- and airport of Boracay.

At the Jetty port in Caticlan a motor-banca brings the traveler in 12 minutes to Boracay. The old boat stations are not deserved anymore, but from the 2 new ports a tricycle brings you in a few minutes to any spot on Boracay.
